PREMARKET DATA CONFIRMING SELL SIGNAL FROM YESTERDAY

JULY 31 Wednesday  6:10 AM  PREMARKET DATA

 As predicted several days ago, DJI, DJT  & SPY gave SELL signals in addition to SELL signals for RUSSELL 2000, IWM & TNA  given on July 7 . This is based on our book. Earnings may have been good but they are no more useful  than looking at the rear view mirror.

NASDAQ will give SELL signal today. Even though GDP  for second Quarter was published at 4% gain yesterday  compared to 2.1% (revised) for First Quarter, these numbers are not meaningful for predicting the market.

Update PreMarket July 28, 2014

Monday July 28 6:05  AM

Even though market is near highs, its internals are weak. Last Friday, DJI moved below its 15 day moving average giving a near term SELL signal.  Russell 2000 remains the weakest index.SPX & NASDAQ have not given SELL signals. This may happen this week.

GOLD is having an abc rally and may reach the recent highs after which a big decline to new lows is possible.

UPDATE Premarket July 22, 2014

6:05 AM Pacific Time
Market is going up and down  without giving any firm direction. DJI , DJT and SPX may go to recent highs or even exceed recent highs but it does not signal a strong market. In fact Russell 2000 has stayed below both 15 day and 50 day moving averages. A fractured market is a weak market and it can start going dow sharply anytime. The number of new highs has been going down steadily. A few stocks continue to make new highs but it does not show strength in the market.
Stocks in Europe showing some strength today but no buy signal yet.

Sell Signal Confirmed Yesterday

Pre-Market July 18 6 AM PT
In our blog of Wednesday, we pointed out that even though DJI and SPX were making new highs,
the market internals were weak. With sentiment very bullish and one sided, the market could start going down any time. Yesterday the market just needed some excuse to go down and gave a SELL signal on SPY,  and Nasdaq. DJI & SPX can go back to recent highs before the decline resumes.We already got a SELL signal on RUssell 2000 on July 7 in accordance with our  book. The biggest  % decline since July 7 has been in TNA and biggest % advance since July 7 has been in TZA.
Gold may go back to  recent highs after some correction today.

Update for July 16, 2014

6 AM PT

We still do not have a SEll signal on US markets even though advance decline ratio was negative yesterday and DJI, DJT , QQQ all made new intraday highs. SPY has not made a new high yet.  Nasdaq also did not make a new high. This appears like a fractured market and is weak.
Because of one sided bullish sentiment we may be getting closer to near term peak and a decline can start any time.

Gold is giving a SELL signal.

Updated Pre Market Data July 14, 2014

JULY 14, 2014 6:10 AM PT

After giving a Sell signal  last Thursday, the market is reversing today and DJI and SPY, QQQ  may make new highs or at least go up to previous highs. SELL signal in RUSSELL 2000 is not reversing  yet.
Markets in Europe are also reversing after completing 5 steps down. No BUY signal in European Markets.
